They raise the standards. The packaging was as if they also expected ups to throw it out of a moving truck. Very well thought out entirely. Phenomenal price, absolutely as described (not in 'mint' condition, but the actual condition was entirely shown in the listing...this is a 74 year old lens, of course it's not going to be perfect.)
