Paula Abdul started as a cheerleader for the LA Lakers, went on to choreograph dance moves for artists like Janet Jackson, and then launched a singing and dancing career of her own. Her brand of pop music always had a high degree of "dance-ability" to it, as this was where Abdul's true talent lied, and her music videos always insured that dance was at the center of the proceedings.
