Mit der vorliegenden Arbeit wird das Ziel verfolgt, die Verwendbarkeit des Job Demands-Resources Models uber verschiedene Kulturen hinweg zu explorieren. Der theoretische Hintergrund basiert diesbezuglich auf dem Job Demands-Resources Model von Demerouti, Bakker, Nachreiner und Schaufeli, und den Kulturdimensionen von Geert Hofstede. Das JD-R Model umfasst Arbeitsbedingungen, die explizite Einflusse auf ein Individuum reprasentieren und in Interaktion die Gesundheit negativ oder positiv beeinflussen. Die funf Kulturdimensionen nach Geert Hofstede zeigen divergente Auspragungen innerhalb funf unterschiedlicher Lander, in denen das JD-R Model untersucht wurde. Die Vermutung, dass es Unterschiede in Arbeitsanforderungen und Arbeitsressourcen und innerhalb derer Einflusse gibt und somit sich das JD-R Model nicht in allen europaischen Landern anwenden lasst, resultierte aus dieser Erkenntnis der Divergenz innerhalb der unterschiedlichen Kulturen sowie der gleichbleibenden Struktur des JD-R Models. Die vorliegende Untersuchung stutzt sich auf sechs verschiedene Studien.
