    The shipping was as advertised and the packaging was excellent! It however was not as advertised-the draw band was detached from the main spring. The resulting malfunction would have been very obvious at the time of shipping. I therefore believe-given the care with which the typewriter was packaged- that the draw string came off during shipment. Fortunately I was able to re-attach the draw string and the typewriter works perfectly.

    The package arrived safely after a long journey, and the item is exactly as described. The packaging was extraordinary in its care. We have never seen packaging to this standard before and was necessary as the item was a framed certificate with glass.
