Product Information
Joining the Allman Brothers Band at its inception in 1969, legendary guitarist Dickey Betts supplied the melodic lines that served as foil and support for leader Duane Allman's inventive slide soloing. After Allman's tragic death in 1971, Betts stepped forward as the band's main songwriter, penning such memorable Southern rock classics as "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed," "Jessica," and "Ramblin' Man" before launching a solo career with his new band, Great Southern, in 1976. BACK WHERE IT ALL BEGINS captures Dickey Betts and Great Southern live in concert at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 29, 2004, performing a selection of his best material and a song written exclusively for the event, "Cleveland Blues."Product Identifiers
