They were wrapped in plastic and surrounded by styrofoam and I’m grateful for that because USPS left the box out in the rain. The outer box was so wet, it was like tissue paper. I had a positive experience with each seller. They carefully wrapped the books in packing material to prevent damage during shipping. The books arrived in the condition described. They were packed with incredible care, each of the twelve volume individually wrapped and the whole in bubble wrap. They look wonderful. And the price was very reasonable. I was going to make a lower offer but because it was a non-profit library I paid the full amount which was still very reasonable. I have been wanting to read all twelve Parkman volumes front row back and now I can. Thanks!
