I also had to replace the CMOS battery after about a week of using the laptop but that should be expected with any used laptop that is 10+ years old. Thanks again, Veritasiness!

Packaging was okay, it was a large box for a small laptop. As described? Well, it wouldn't boot into the Windows boot manager so I was a little bit disappointed about that. As for value, compared to the other Thinkpad W541s, it was priced cheaper and more affordable. The shipping box was probably mishandled somewhere in the delivery pipeline, causing the HD to unseat. The Seller did respond to my inquiry and suggested I check the HD connection.
