The PC has a Windows 10 digital license, which updates to Windows 11 for free. You do need to update the BIOS, and that is readily available from Lenovo support website. I cloned my existing Win 10 to the SSD (remember if you do this you may be changing from legacy to EFI) and then upgraded to Win11 .....took a while but very successful. Overall, a great purchase, and extremely good value for a new workstation.
