It is made of very substantial metal, something not available for this car in the US. You can get a plastic version out of the UK for double the price of this very nice metal piece. It was packed in a very sturdy box to ensure it could not get damaged during transit. It arrived in perfect condition, and it is exactly as advertised. It matches the other brushed metal pieces on my car. 5 days to get here from Bulgaria. Don't hesitate. SUPER!!!
