They agree to ship so I could try the unit out. On receipt of oscilloscope which was packed extremely well, I checked it out and the error was simply a case of restoring Factory Defaults to the EEPROM. Everything worked correctly after that. I am very happy with the purchase and commend the seller for honesty and upfront acknowledgement that the discovered an error.
