Defensive options have been increased as well, with left-stick control and a new shot blocking system making it easier to contain opposing scorers. Game modes include Live Season, in which players are tasked with replicating the real-life feats of NBA stars, The Jordan Rising Star mode, where gamers create a player and try to guide him to superstar status, and the card-collecting Live Ultimate Team mode.
