This DVD contains two GUINEA PIG productions: FLOWER OF FLESH & BLOOD is the first; An inspired piece of fimmaking from Manga artist Hideshi Hibino, conceived after Hibino received an 8mm snuff film in the mail. After viewing the film, and subsequently turning it into the police, Hibino decided to recreate the film as a semi-documentary, blurring fact and fiction. Containing scenes of dismemberment, and a brutal disemboweling, FLOWER OF FLESH & BLOOD is not for the faint-hearted. MAKING OF GUINEA PIG follows, going behind the scenes on two GUINEA PIG movies, HE NEVER DIES, and FLOWER OF FLESH & BLOOD. Directors, actors and special effects are all examined in great detail, offering a fascinating insight into the minds behind the mayhem.
