The Davis-Monthan Air Base is located in the hot, dry Arizona desert and is now home for over 2,500 aircraft. The United States Air Force, Army and Navy all send their surplus and obselete aircraft here. The aircraft types here are many and varied. Each aircraft carries the livery denoting its role prior to retirement and for the enthusiast, squadron markings are still clearly visible.
