Product Information
Set in the 1920s, Gangster Town puts you in the role of a FBI agent. Your assignment is to clear the city of gangsters. The game opens with some target-shooting, in order to determine the player's skill level. Then, a car chase into the city ensues. Levels scroll for a determined amount of time; when they stop scrolling the level boss appears. <br><br>During the car chase, gangsters pop out of the car's windows to take shots at you and a plane flies overhead dropping bombs. Bombs and gangsters can be shot before they do any damage to you. Also, the car's tires can be shot off, but the car will continue to come back until you reach downtown.<br><br>Once you reach downtown, gangsters will take aim from sidewalks, appear in building windows, and pop out from under manhole covers. Here, along with the gangsters, players can shoot windows and signs. After downtown comes the saloon. At the saloon, gangsters pop up from behind the bar and also from the ceiling. Players have the opportunity to shoot mice as well, and if they clear every bottle off of the bar they receive major bonus points. <br><br>Next is the nightclub, where the gangsters have some more hiding places. They will appear in front of the stage, on the stage, behind curtains, and behind the drum set. The last level takes place at the docks. Gangsters appear on screen in the largest numbers at the docks while popping up from behind boats. <br><br>Throughout Gangster Town, when gangsters are shot they turn into angels. The angels can then be shot and sent downward -- where they belong. Bonus stages also take place between levels, where players must shoot apart brick walls to find a hidden key as fast as they can.Product Identifiers
