The Western Digital RE3 1TB, model number WD1002FBYS internal hard drive is an ideal storage device for video surveillance recording and other write-intensive applications. It comes with NoTouch ramp load technology, which greatly increases its service life. The StableTrac technology reduces vibrations, while the Intelliseek feature reduces noise, vibration, and lowers power consumption. The hard drive has the same functionality of HDDs with a lower storage capacity, especially in terms of speed (RPM) and efficiency. It has a 7200RPM rotational speed at 32 megabytes of buffer cache for retrieving data quickly, while the high GHz of the drive lets users transfer data quickly.The drive features a dual processor with the ability to handle high-speed, intensive applications. Featuring the SATA 3Gb/s interface and a 32MB cache at 7200RPM, this will provide the power, storage, performance, and dependability that you're looking for. Its impressive capabilities will produce up to a 20% improvement rate over your current server. The StableTrac technology feature secures the motor shaft at either ends in order to decrease the system vibration and to compensate for accurate tracking during read and write operations. Western Digital’s fourth-generation RAFF technology includes sophisticated mechanics to monitor the drive for up to a 60% drive performance improvement in high fluctuating environments over the previous generation of drives.Another feature of these drives is known as IntelliSeek, which calculates ultimate seek speeds at 8.9 milliseconds to decrease power consumption and reverberation. With a multi-axis shock sensor, it automatically detects the slightest shock events to the drives and compensates to protect the data. The Western Digital RE3 1TB internal hard drive WD1002FBYS also utilizes Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) technology to achieve greater reliability, dependability, and results. Special load technology will ensure the recording head will not rub against the disk, which will result in less wear and tear to the recording head. In turn, the media will not degrade.
