Both were still in the original packaging as described. One had dead batteries, but what do you expect when getting an item that's a few years old? 3 new mini batteries and it works great. On a side note, this seller gave feedback as soon as they shipped which is appreciated. I've sold hundreds of items on ebay and given feedback as soon as I ship, so I appreciate it when others do the same as this seller did.
