There was a bit of a chemical odor but it eventually went away. My PlayStation Portal fits snuggly even with a silicone case on. However, I wish the case had a slot designed for holding the Pulse Explore earbuds (or maybe even any wireless earbuds). I tried putting the Pulse Explore earbuds case on top of the mesh pocket, but I wasn't able to zip up the case. However, it doesn't feel as though it puts way too much pressure on the PlayStation Portal screen such that it'd cause damage. With that said, the mesh pocket was definitely not designed with the Pulse Explore earbuds case in mind! I would still highly recommend this case!

Absolutely will buy from Skull & Co again and very glad I chose this case for my Portal. Note for anyone considering the PS Portal Case: when you first receive it, you will definitely want to give it a chance to air out a bit before using. This is not uncommon for these sorts of electronics cases. The smell DOES go away! :-)
