Layers of padding kept the item safe & secure. For me, this was a very good value. There is one aspect of description that was a little misleading. I do not believe this done to mislead. The actual piece is appreciably darker than the eBay photos. While I am happy with the piece, I wonder if I still would have purchased it if the photos more closely reflected the true color.

Items are as described and shown (clear, comprehensive photos). The seller knows aspects of Japanese pottery which are important for a prospective buyer, and tries to provide evidence of them. Shipping was prompt and protective packaging for ceramics was outstanding. Overall a very good shopping experience.
