Reviews
"Using multiple narrators and expertly concocted cliffhangers, Pullman crafts a thrilling page-turner. This gothic farce features young orphans, evil schemers, a gloomy Swiss castle, a long-lost heir, stalwart lads, capable women, a con man on the lam, hilariously bumbling police officers, and Zamiel: the Prince of the Mountains, the Demon Huntsman. . . . It's whirlwind plotting, manipulated into a pulsing tale of darkened hearts, treachery, and at long last, redemption."--Kirkus Reviews "In this deliciously gothic thriller there are enough demon huntsmen, evil guardians, and brooding castles to please even the most desensitized reader."--School Library Journal, Starred "A welcome diversion . . . [that is] dashing, sparkling, and wildly over the top."--Publishers Weekly, Starred, "Using multiple narrators and expertly concocted cliffhangers, Pullman crafts a thrilling page-turner. - 4***d (14)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoThe package was delivered late because it went to the East Coast from Kansas before coming to the West Coast. However, Reliant Book Store maintained constant communication with me and was very helpful throughout the process. The three-volume series arrived in the exact condition that was advertised. These were first-edition books that replaced the stolen ones. I am satisfied with my purchase and recommend Reliant Book Store to anyone looking for excellent used books at reasonable prices. The Spiritual Man, in Three Volumes [Volumes One, Two, and Three] - Watchman... - s***k (121)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoHigh quality book arrived in good condition as described. The book's appearance is satisfactory. A great value! Shipping: Seller shipped promptly. But I received an eBay message saying: USPS made a delivery attempt but were unable to proceed due to an insufficient address. Huh? Also, shipping history said book was "Held at Post Office At Customer Request." I didn't request this to be done! Next day I went to my USPS office. They fished around & found package. My address was correct. Weird.Photographing People (Kodak No Nonsense Photography Guides) - O'Connor, Mich... (N° 156481824914)
- p***r (142)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoAs described ,nice price, quickly shipped but not in a padded envelope, nor with a cardboard padding inside a regular envelope, so corners of book were free to be bumped in transit. They were not. The book looked good even with a tear at one corner of the envelope. Both the seller and the buyer were lucky.
