The item was well packed in bubble wrap and reinforced on one side with cardboard. Would suggest to further protect with more cardboard on the other side. Also the box itself was too large for the item, and FedEx crumpled the bottom and the item bounced in transport inside the box. Would suggest more padding to avoid this.
