Nearly 20 years later, with a DVD and theatrical release of Amadeus: The Director's Cut being prepared for early 2002, an accompanying new 2-CD set is available now. The new gold CD package includes more than 155 minutes of music from the original soundtrack plus the new glass harmonic piece. All of the music has been re-mastered in 24 Super Bit Mapping. Plus, a lavishly illustrated booklet with updated notes rounds out this exquisite and timely package.
