So I had to install a second 12 volt batt jn series with my existing batt to get the required 24 volts. That gives me double run time when the power goes out. The UPS works as it should.

Laptop was very well packaged. Item was a bit better than described. Good value but International shipping and Cad/US exchange took a bite.
