    Very happy to try flatwounds on an acoustic! I ve played around with flatwounds on jazz guitars, but this is similar- but different. Nice to have another tool in the tool box!

    I received my 3 sets of strings last Wednesday; and now, here on Sunday I have already put on the 3rd set. The G strings keep popping at the tuner post after 2 days. I wrap each string around the post before putting the string through the hole, so that should reduce stress at that bend. I've been playing almost 43 years, and I can't remember losing a G like this (multiple times no less) ever before. On all other counts these strings are wonderful, but I need more that 2 days play time on a set.
