For a fairly niche and outdated item I would say the pricing was good! As to why I needed the remote, a while ago I decided I wanted a 100+ CD changer for all my CDs. I recently happened to find the corresponding receiver at a local thrift store (and surprising no one) without a remote. Thanks for having exactly what I needed! :)
