      When I received the shoes, they were not in the condition that the pictures, and the seller indicated. I've refurbished many pairs of Birks, but these were beyond my expertise. I also had to put them outside to air out. They were dirty and smelly. I notified the seller that I wished to return them, then found out there was no free returns policy. The seller was very unpleasant to work with, so I kept the shoes. I hope eBay understands that a lot of the reviews are either fake, or coerced.

      Pictures were posted of the cracking and the tear on the strap. Also, explained in the description. My page also says returns are paid by buyer( if it was posted and explained) These shoes were priced for the damage. (Birkenstocks for 19.99) Buyer asked to return on two separate occasions and I told her to start a return thru eBay. She never did. Instead she left this false review.
