D-Day: The Beginning of the End, designed by Edward Grabowski, is a time-based war game in which the player has a little less than one year to emerge victorious as either the Allied or Axis forces. Beginning in mid-1944, this World War II simulation covers the period of time from the Normandy invasion to the fall of Berlin. You choose which army you want to control and make all the decisions in accordance with preset victory conditions, such as capturing cities or winning battles.<br><br>In this complex, innovative simulation, there are two main modes of play that complement each other and lead to an overall realistic look at the beginning of the end of WWII. The first mode is a turn-based, campaign-level game where your army is maneuvered across Western Europe to gain positional strength. Then the game switches to a Micro Miniatures mode, which focuses on a specific battle. Options to play only the Micro Miniatures battles or the Campaign mode are available.

    Description was not completely described as to issues that the inside of the boxes that the items came in and the pictures did not show any of this, shipping was combined because I purchased all 5 items in this set so it made the shipping cost lower. Packaged well for shipping. All in all it did turn out to be a great value. Great communication with the seller. Thank you for working with me.
