A compact option for easy travel, the Vivitar 690 HD video camera is even waterproof. The compact camcorder can be used underwater up to ten feet deep. The Vivitar camcorder includes a 4x digital zoom as well as a fixed focus lens for easier control. The Vivitar 690 HD video camera offers a built-in memory of eight MB and can be expanded through a full SD card slot. The screen of the Vivitar camcorder is two inches and it is back light LCD for easier viewing in low-light recording situations. Other features of the compact camcorder include a built-in speaker, analog microphone, a light blue metallic design, and LED light. The Vivitar camcorder includes a USB 2.0 connector, a built-in battery, and a TV out connector for easy viewing of videos right on the television screen. The camcorder records in 1280 by 720 HD and has adjustable VGA resolutions.
