A group of farm animals become politically conscious and overthrow their cruel human masters--but as they organize their own government, a social hierarchy evolves that's every bit as unjust as the one they replaced. Famously based on the events in the old Soviet Union, this 73-minute program holds appeal for both children and adults; the still timely story is narrated by Gordon Heath, and all the animals are expertly voiced by Maurice Denham.
