Synopsis
A #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller. From New York Times bestselling author Patricia Cornwell comes Ripper: The Secret Life of Walter Sickert , a comprehensive and intriguing exposé of one of the world's most chilling cases of serial murder--and the police force that failed to solve it. Vain and charismatic Walter Sickert made a name for himself as a painter in Victorian London. But the ghoulish nature of his art--as well as extensive evidence--points to another name, one that's left its bloody mark on the pages of history: Jack the Ripper. Cornwell has collected never-before-seen archival material--including a rare mortuary photo, personal correspondence and a will with a mysterious autopsy clause--and applied cutting-edge forensic science to open an old crime to new scrutiny. Incorporating material from Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper--Case Closed , this new edition has been revised and expanded to include eight new chapters, detailed maps and hundreds of images that bring the sinister case to life. Note: This book contains images that some readers may find disturbing., A #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller. - r***t (99)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoOrdered Blu-rays and couldn’t be happier. All arrived in perfect condition—exactly as described, securely packaged, and shipped quickly. Discs and cases looked brand new, like they'd barely been touched. Great seller, great value, and zero issues from start to finish. Would definitely buy from again. Highly recommended!
- a***v (719)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoOutstanding customer service. Exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, package didn't arrive by expected date through no fault of the seller. It was presumably misplaced by the carrier during shipment. Seller proactively issued a full refund and said to "enjoy" the DVD if it is eventually delivered. Not expected, and certainly not necessary, given it wasn't their fault. A stellar vendor who goes the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied. Highly recommended!!Pink Floyd - Pulse (N° 135625367718)
- l***s (75)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoThe book cover didn't match the listing photo, which is a pet peeve of mine, and the book was just shipped in a bag with no additional protection, but the book was in the stated condition, not covered in inventory stickers (like some sellers do), and shipping was fast. Plus the book cover was actually better than the listing photo. Overall I'm happy, but I probably wouldn't purchase from this seller again just because I like to know what my book cover is going to look like.
