Brand is Muselady which is a Chinese brand sold under different names for up to $1,800.00. It plays we'll if you start with a different reed or modify the one it came with. Close inspection shows where they cut corners but for the price, consider it equivalent to an epiphany Les Paul. It's cheaper then a Gibson but is still a LesPaul. Longevity is the unknown but at least I can get started for less than a 2 month rental.
