In unbarmherzigen Rennen infiltriert der Spieler die 510s, eine illegale Gang der Detroiter Straßenrennszene. Der Plan? Eine Reputation in der Untergrund-Rennszene aufbauen und die Machenschaften der Gang Stadt-für-Stadt in den ganzen Vereinigten Staaten sabotieren. Dabei rast man durch die lebhaften Straßen von New York und Los Angeles, rollt durch das sonnige Miami Beach oder cruised über die atemberaubenden Plateaus von Monument Valley. Jedes Gebiet hält ganz spezielle Überraschungen Herausforderungen für den Fahrer bereit. Auf der Reise durch die USA begegnet man anderen Spielern auf der Straße, die alle potentielle Gefährten oder zukünftige Gegner sein können.
