This replacement works well and looks great even though it is chrome plated plastic. Old one was chromed brass I think. The only slight issue was that the swivel ball had lathe turning groves around it, so the head swivel was not smooth in action. I fixed this by using the ball/connector piece from the old head which was smooth, along with a little silicon grease the action is now super smooth and easy.
