There was no core charge on the item, but they required that a core be shipped back or the warranty was void. I thought this was a little disingenuis, and didn't appreciate having to pay shipping in order to get the warranty that was implied in the listing. Nothing I read said anything about that caveat. Overall satisfied tho, it was a good transaction for a hard to find item.
