    I assumed “new in box” meant they’d be sent in their original/new condition and packaging, but they were a mixed set of the same colors and definitely not “new in box” as one might think in the classic sense. I’m glad I opened the box before gifting them because they were mostly wrapped in ebay tissue papers for protection, but now I need to find a different way to package/box them to gift. Shipper was communicative about shipping timelines and to be fair, they’re fine for the price.

    These were absolutely new in the original box. I added the tissue paper to protect them for shipping. You may remove that, and they will be brand new in the box. I could have shipped them as it without opening the box, but then protection would be inadequate for shipping.
