Because of the unexpected condition, I initiated the return for the item to address the issue. The seller was very understanding of the situation and responded promptly. They issued a full refund without any hassle and even allowed us to keep the item. Overall, a very reliable seller who handled the problem professionally and courteously. I would highly recommend them to others.

Bubble wrap, foam, and Styrofoam popcorn were all used to secure the scanner and prevent any damage. The unit was as described. Although used, I can see no evidence of scratches, dents, etc. The value is outstanding. I'm using this scanner in a backup station in my home office.
