This item will definitely serve its intended purpose, protect the blades from damage and rust. I will use this on a barely used (appears to be in "new old stock" condition) hedge trimmer that I purchased without the blade cover. This is an original equipment part and is definitely worth the price.

The trimmer engine did not "run strong". However, after communicating the issue with the seller the issue was quickly and efficiently resolved. I am pleased with the solution of a partial refund to cover the cost of making the engine "run strong"!
