Das vorliegende Buch hat das Ziel die Potenziale und Risiken des Enterprise Content Management im Verbund mit Cloud-Computing aufzuzeigen. Dazu werden zunachst Grundlagen des Enterprise Content Management eroertert, um ein besseres Verstandnis zu geben, was ECM ist, welche Moeglichkeiten es bietet und welche rechtlichen An-forderungen zu berucksichtigen sind. In Kapitel 3 werden Grundlagen zum Cloud-Computing vermittelt. Im Anschluss erfolgt eine Einfuhrung wie sich ECM in der Cloud darstellt, was Kunden erwarten und welche Moeglichkeiten sich grundlegend bieten. IT-Segmente mit einer hohen Eignung fur ECM-Cloud-Dienste werden vorgestellt und erlautert sowie aktuell verfugbare ECM-Cloud-Loesungen verschiedener ECM-Anbieter. Darauf aufbauend werden die Potenziale und Risiken einer ECM-Cloud-Loesung in verschiedenen Kategorien vorgestellt. Abschliessend wird eine Schlussbetrachtung vorgenommen, in der die Ergebnisse der vorhergehenden Kapitel festgehalten werden.
