Sadely, the drive mechanism was heavily damaged, although the seller did package it very well. Judging by the bent frame and the bent pinch roller axis, something very heavy must have been thrown onto it. Fortunately, I only require the cassette lid, which is still intact. And I might be able to salvage other parts, because I can see that the deck was serviced as described. Not the seller's fault! It was the mishandling by the postal service somewhere on the way.
