However, the seller apologised & immediately posted a replacement which arrived just 3 days later. However, this 1, whilst better, also didn't match its description. Since this 2nd unit seemed to otherwise be ok and the voltage was some 1.5v higher than the very 1st unit I'd purchased just over 4 years earlier from another seller, I was able to accept his generous offer of a 50% refund as an equitable solution.
