Synopsis
'No one can get past the German soldier.' - Adolf Hitler For the first three years of World War II the German Army was a fearsome offensive organization, capable of subduing countries in a matter of weeks. Even as the war neared its end, individual German soldiers earned great respect from their Allied opponents for their defensive capabilities and their willingness to fight hard to the end. The German Soldier in World War II uses rare and previously unseen photographs to show the reader what life was like for the German soldier in the front line during World War II. Whether a tank crewman, panzergrenadier, motorcyclist or artilleryman, every German soldier had their own viewpoint in combat and the photographs in this book reflect that, showing how they fought together, often overcoming unpromising odds or better-equipped enemies. The book includes images of the Waffen-SS in action, and depicts combat from both the Western and Eastern fronts. The German Soldier in World War II is a graphic portrait of the life of the private soldier in the army of the Third Reich, containing first-hand accounts from German Army veterans who served in the war. This book is for anyone interested in the history of World War II and the Third Reich., No one can get past the German soldier. My order was packaged with care and arrived in like new condition! It was just as described in the listing. The seller wasted no time in updating me with tracking information and shipped out. The order arrived quickly. I am pleased with all the aspects of my purchase and would look forward to doing more business in the future. Highly Recommended! Thank you, well done!
- d***8 (124)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoItem arrived in condition as described in ad. Packaging left a little to be desired. Six books in the shipping sleeve was too many. The sleeve split and I could easily grab books out of it. Thank goodness none were lost or damaged. I would suggest larger envelopes for bigger orders, especially since the seller offers deals for buy more save more. Great price point. All books in good condition. Thank you.Dust; Scarpetta - 0425270041, paperback, Patricia Cornwell (N° 296961625988)
- a***7 (41)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoShipping time and price were fine. It was disappointing to receive the book in a plastic bag, instead of a cardboard-type container. The book ended up having dings in it as a result. We accepted the book as is and didn't contact the seller. However, going forward, anyone selling books should be using packaging that is best suited for shipping books as shipping companies aren't careful & could care less what's inside of the package.
