Synopsis
OSCEs are a familiar component of postgraduate examinations worldwide, simulating clinical scenarios to assess a candidate's clinical skills and a range of competencies. This book will combine comprehensive knowledge and evidence-based practice standards in obstetrics and medical complications of pregnancy into a patient-centered approach using standardized OSCE scenarios. Taking an innovative, unique approach to diverse common clinical scenarios, it will be useful to trainees preparing for high-stakes certification examinations, and all healthcare workers providing obstetrical care. By using the provided clinical cases for self-assessment or peer-review practice, important aspects of focused history taking and patient management are elucidated. For those working in obstetrical care, this book is an essential teaching tool for all levels of training. The book will therefore serve as a key teaching tool at various levels. Readers can use the clinical cases for self-assessment or peer-review practice, to elucidate important aspects of focused history-taking and evidence-based patient management., Using this book, obstetric practitioners and trainees will learn focused history-taking and evidence-based counselling and management from preconception/early pregnancy to the postpartum period. Innovatively designed in OSCE format, it will help prepare for high-stakes certification examinations.

Most importantly, the book condition was as specified. Many thanks for that. Also, the book was delivered promptly from the USA to the UK. Also, the price was reasonable for an out-of-print book. However, one point of constructive criticism: the packaging could have been much better, in order to better protect the book in transit. The book was sent in a bubble-wrap mailer only, with no cardboard to give the package greater strength. Thank you very much for any consideration of my feedback.

The mail service absolutely ravaged the top binding corner of the book, which really was a disappointment. It’s not your fault as a seller, but please consider that a book in a snug envelope is very unsafe rather than a slightly larger envelope of the same strength. It’s not going to affect your rating. I will say nothing. But please consider this in the future- Post is treated poorly and customer service is poor with mail, so it’s necessary to ship properly, especially if you sell books. :)
