I cleaned off the black stuff that was on it with some turquoise safe jewelry cleaner. Not sure if it’s put there on purpose or leftover from the casting or polishing process but I prefer more of the silver to show through. Shipping speed was okay considering how far it had to travel and arrived in good condition secured with bubble wrap. I would add that the bail (loop at top) is fashioned by hand and is not very symmetrical.
