    Sold a defective thermostat listed as good condition. Threw thermostat in garbage and let seller know he didn't own or test the thermostat before selling it. Seller insisted on returning defective product before returning money - my time is valuable and spending a half hour for shipping, $12 for postage to get back $30 is not worthwhile. Seller needs to either test his products, or list "condition unknown" on his ads. Really bad experience.

    I understand your frustration with a potential issue with the item. Our request for a return is standard as most companies would ask for a return of said defective item before issuing a refund. We would gladly used the ebay return process (which includes a prepaid label for you to return the item with). However, since you claimed to have thrown the item away that makes the entire return for refund process impossible to complete. If you still have the item, please contact us to begin the return.
