Synopsis
Each of the four books in this box set offers a different perspective of immigrating to the United States -- that of an Irish girl sent to work in the Lowell, Massachusetts mills; a Polish girl who comes to live in a western Pennsylvania mining town; a Jewish girl who moves to New York City with her family; and a Finnish boy who settles in Minnesota., Mo Willems, #1 New York Times best-selling creator and three-time Caldecott Honoree, presents a brilliantly true-to-life tale about what happens when Daddy's in charge and things go terribly, hilariously wrong. Trixie, Daddy, and Knuffle Bunny take a trip to the neighborhood Laundromat. But the exciting adventure takes a dramatic turn when Trixie realizes somebunny was left behind. . . . Using a combination of muted black-and-white photographs and expressive illustrations, this stunning book won the 2005 Caldecott Honor. For Mo' amazing books, check out these other great series: The Pigeon Elephant & Piggie Unlimited Squirrels, Trixie, Daddy, and Knuffle Bunny take a trip to the neighborhood Laundromat. - a***9 (75)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoI would DEFINITELY purchase from this seller again. Seller might want to add more pics and better description because there was a tear on the back dust jacket that wasn’t mentioned. Could’ve happened during shipping so I’m not holding it against the seller. I fixed with tape on the inside of jacket. No harm/no foul. The seller had a more than generous price for this book + free shipping. NO complaints. Hence, I would purchase from this seller again without hesitation.
