It was a smaller size 2230 that was adapted with a brass rivet and plate adapter to the correct length 2242 for my computer. It looked wonky at first and the adapter and rivet dismantled and I thought oh, no. But it fit well and the heat transfer tape of my former 1TB WD SSD actually held it all together well. The speed of this SSD is phenomenal. I tried another brand that did not work. This works well!!
