This game features some of the most playable fighters of all of the DBZ games available. It also hosts one of the biggest rosters of any fighting game. New playable fighters include King Vegeta, The Red Ribbon Army's General Blue, and Spike the Devil Man. While some of these characters seem crafted to endear themselves to long-time fans of the franchise, each has a fully developed fighting style. All of the characters have a unique array of abilities to differentiate them from the others.Experience an extreme three-dimensional fighting experience with enhanced fighting techniques and more than 20 battle stages. This game features beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, which make each character's effects appear more realistic. Even more, stages are playable in both Day and Night modes to give explosions and bursts of light even more dazzle. Certain characters can also access special abilities when exposed to the full moon.Released in 2007 by Atari, this Wii game also features interesting modes and extra features. New to this edition is the Battle Replay mode, which allows you to save and replay your favorite battles. Whether you're trying to perfectly recreate a battle or simply show that you can beat the entire Ginyu Force one after the other, this mode gives your battles permanence beyond the scars you leave on the earth.In addition, Dragon History lets you select your favorite battle scenes. The expansive story mode features an avalanche of events from the DBZ franchise and utilizes the massive roster extensively to display as many canon events as possible.An improved control system for the Nintendo Wii allows players to mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they do in the Dragon Ball Z animated series on which this game is based. Characters are designed to feature unique combo attacks that allow you to chain long series of melee blows. You can also juggle your opponent through the air. With the Z Burst Dash, you can zip through the air and maneuver yourself behind the enemy with minimal effort. These effects give the impression of brutal battles that wind quickly across the map. The Wii version of this title features online multi-player capability as well as local multiplayer capacity. The online component of the game includes a ranking system that allows you to chart your abilities on a worldwide scale until you're the best Z-fighter around.
