I contacted the seller who said they didn't notice anything so I assume the glue was just old and shook loose during shipping despite the very careful packaging. I was able to get a partial refund which was much appreciated!

Plenty of fluff in the box to protect the delicate cardboard, the item was exactly as described and exactly what was detailed in the listing pictures, and the seller was amazing to work with! Will definitely be shopping again if I find something I need from them!
