Since it was a collectors item, the value was pretty good. The USPS mailer arrived severely damaged and was torn nearly in half (assuming this was through no fault of the seller). I recorded opening the package as a precaution. Fortunately, the seller had enough interior packaging to protect the book itself, so the item was undamaged and as described. Besides this damage, this item is in like-new condition as depicted in listing. A pity, and extremely disappointing that a vintage item in such good condition was damaged on its last journey because of the lack of care taken in packaging it, and given the high $28 USPS shipping cost. This was an international transaction so the item is sent to eBay's shipping hub where they will open and repack the item. This could be where the problem occurred.
