Going from 46/36 to 46/30 made a huge difference and only required minor adjustment of my front derailer. Going to a shorter crank arm was a bit of a concern, but in reality, I didn't feel it at all. Nice cranks, good function, great value. The only thing that I'd watch out for is assembly. The cranks as received had the chain catcher pin improperly positioned. A quick disassembly and rotation of the rings fixed that. RECOMMENDED!
