I had some 40cm long thick new gummy wood and this beast chewed through it. I estimate about a ton of wood in 2 hours. Not a hiccup not a worrying moment. Just split the bag knotted stuff. Really impressive

It worked out too expensive to repair so I purchased another one. Very good machine and easy to use

Smaller logs do not split and the fibrous logs need to be turned. Extended my machine by 55mm on the moving cutting head and it works a treat. Another niggle is the depth stop. The bar it grips onto should have some notches for the screw to bite into. It slips constantly. I will fit a bolt and locknut to solve this problem. The manufacturer should have a rethink.
